This is my granddaughter, Natalie. She is four! She is wearing a sweet little heirloom dress that I made, it is embellished with cotton laces and embroidery on the yoke, sleeves and at each scallop point. I actually didn’t like this dress very much after I completed it but it won first place and best of show in the sewing category at the local fair. I guess it is OK after all.
This is Natalie, age 5. She is wearing her Easter outfit I made for this year. I used more of the silk from the wedding gown make over for the bodice of her dress and the jacket. It is lined in satin so it feels sooooo soft. She loves pretty clothing, and I love sewing for her and her brother when I can.
Meet my grandson Lucas, he is wearing part of the wedding gown from the make over last year. I made a vest for him for Easter this year. He loves to dress nicely but loves to play and see his Papa as much as he can. He is a fun guy to have around.
